David Johnston is President of DLTe, Managing Director of Yeoman’s Capital and Partner at YGC. David is also the Chairman of the Board at Factom, Inc. the first blockchain technology company to solve the scalability, cost and speed problems with securing large enterprise data in a tamper-proof and secure way. A skilled fund manager in the cryptocurrency space, David played an early role in several billion-dollar blockchain applications including Bitcoin and Ethereum, and helped launch important decentralized infrastructures such as the Safe Network and Factom. Nitin Gaur, Director of IBM WW Digital Asset Labs is renowned for his ability to analyse opportunities, anticipate trends, and create technologies that align with operational needs, catapult profitability, and dramatically improve the end-customer experience.

Since taking this role in 2015, Nitin has designed “blockchain for enterprise” solutions for large customers in regulated industries by working with various entities such as IBM research, large financial services industry clients, regulators and startup community addressing the fragmented blockchain landscape with existing application and transaction infrastructure.

Prior to this role, Nitin was the Chief Technology Officer for IBM Mobile Payments globally where he led IBM’s work globally around mobile wallets, mobile payments, and different forms of money.  He has achieved numerous industry recognitions and accolades, is a regular presenter at conferences globally.

Samson Lee (or Sam) is the Founder & CEO of Coinstreet Partners, Founding Chairman of Belt & Road TechFin Association, Co-Founder of the Blockchain Centre of Hong Kong, Co-Founder of Ethereum south China community, Co-Founder of STGX (STO Global Exchange), Chief Crypto-Economic Advisor of Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange, and Honorary Guest Lecturer & Fintech and Blockchain Committee of Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (EDC).

Prior, Samson held numerous senior management positions of internationally renowned companies, including UCast Asia President, Next-TV President, Ericsson Asia UDN Business Consultant, Movideo Greater China Executive Vice President, Neulion Greater China and South Asia Pacific Vice President, Rovi Asia Pacific Business Managing Director, DivX Greater China and South Asia Pacific General Manager, PCCW Head of Mobile Commerce and early-stage management team of Hong Kong’s first publicly listed internet company – TOM Group’s (GEM#8001).

Apart from being an experienced blockchain entrepreneur, Samson has over 20 years’ experience in TMET sector, with proven success in commercializing various digital services and e-business operations across in Asia, including the world’s first 4G premium VOD service in 2012 with China Mobile, launched Asia’s first VOD service with four major Hollywood studios in 2006, commercialized Asia’s first O2O E-commerce service with Li & Fung Group in 2004, launched the world’s first mobile e-wallet in 2003 with PCCW, the world’s first verified-by-VISA SMS payment service with VISA and Bank of China in 2002, and the world’s first charge-to-bill mobile payment service with Hutchison Telecom in 2000.

Samson graduated from the University of Toronto, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with MBA and a Master of Science degrees.

Mr. Sabine is responsible for overseeing our business development, cultivating long-term client relationship, introducing new clients and projects, monitoring industry developments and liaising with team heads and members on specific transactions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oxford in July 1969. He was awarded a Thouron Scholarship to attend the Wharton Graduate School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania in that year. He received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of Business and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma honour society in April 1971.

After graduation, Mr. Sabine worked in the financial field in London before coming to Hong Kong in 1977. After working in the corporate finance department of Wardley Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited until 1983, latterly as a director, he set up Somerley International Limited in 1983. Since that time, Somerley International Limited and now Somerley Capital Limited have developed into one of the most active firms in the corporate finance advisory field in Hong Kong. Mr. Sabine is chairman of the Board of Directors of Somerley Capital Holdings Limited and Somerley Capital Limited and is their ultimate controlling shareholder.

Mr. Sabine has written a book on corporate finance (which is called Corporate Finance: Flotations, Equity Issues and Acquisitions), which has been translated into Chinese, Italian and Spanish. Mr. Sabine is a member of the Takeovers Panel and a fellow of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.

Miko Matsumura is a General Partner with Gumi Cryptos, a US $30M venture capital fund focused early-stage blockchain startups and a Venture Partner with BitBull Capital, a cryptocurrency fund-of-funds. He is also an advisor to Arrington XRP Capital. He has been a keynote speaker at dozens of blockchain conferences around the world. He is also co-founder of crypto exchange Evercoin.

Sankalp is an investment banker turned tech entrepreneur and investor. He has extensive experience in traditional financial industry having worked at JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. He has also been a serial entrepreneur over the last 7 years having build and sold few Fintech, blockchain and AI companies including a fiat and non custodial wallet, crypto exchange, consulting platform & a tech services company.
